With Denver’s unemployment rate currently at 3.7 percent, summer job opportunities are shaping up to be more promising this year than ever for young people. To connect young adults age 16-24 with summer jobs, Denver Workforce Services is offering a series of Summer Job and Resource Fairs. Youth should be age 16 prior to May 1, 2019 in order to attend. Attendees are encouraged to create a profile at www.ConnectingColorado.com prior to attending.
The events are offered by Denver Workforce Services, in conjunction with Adams County Workforce and Business Center and Arapahoe/Douglas Works Workforce Center. The events are organized in conjunction with the Governor’s Summer Job Hunt, a long-standing statewide program that promotes successful entry in the workforce through education and workforce experience that leads to self-sufficiency.
